"Hello my name is Lizbeth and I would like to take this opportunity to share my experience with Moji’s virtual nutrition program: I am 29 years old and have been married for 3 years. Over the past three years I have noticed an increase on not just my weight but in my clothe size as well. One bad day of shopping was all it took, in the three years I had been married I had gained a total of 30lbs. from a size 5 to a size 11!!! It was then when I realized that we had both become so comfortable with each other that we carelessly gained unnecessary weight. When I addressed my concern to my husband, we decided that it was time we both took charge of our bodies and our life style. We made various attempts towards changing our eating habits; we always did well for a few days but quickly found ourselves making excuses for not following through with the diet or a workout regimen. We wound up back where I had started with even less motivation than the first time around. We often found ourselves making excuses like, “I’m too busy, there is no time” or my favorite “I’ll start on Monday.” Monday would always come by and once again there was no time. I had a wake up call every time I looked in the mirror making me realize how unhappy I was with my body. Lately we have also been stressed out with our quest to conceive which also attributed to my weight gain. My husband and I have been trying for the past three years with no success. After many extensive tests we were diagnosed with “unexplained infertility”. We decided to take a different approach and began researching holistic alternatives. I started taking yoga classes and seeing an acupuncturist, they both suggested that we start a diet and working out. This would help in getting our minds off trying to conceive and would also physically prepare us for a pregnancy. I was certain that when the time came for us to get pregnant I wanted to be healthy and fit so I began researching for personal trainers. As I searched the internet I came across Moji’s website, I gave her a call and scheduled a phone consultation. On our phone consultation we talked about a little bit of everything taking place in my life. We hit it off instantly; Moji was easy to talk to, very honest, open minded and considerate when it came down to my budget and goals. She gave me a few options to choose from along with suggestions on what would best suit me based on what she learned about me. Moji encouraged me to join the gym, she went over the scheduled classes and made some suggestions on the ones that would suit me best. Moji also worked with me on a meal plan, we discussed what my likes and dislikes were, she implemented an eating time schedule along with portion size recommendations. I talk to her once a week and report back to her any concerns and struggles I might have during the week. She is great in motivating me and bringing me back to reality and reminding me of my goals. I have found that with the program I am currently on it is a lot harder to fall off track. I have been on the program for a month; I have since lost seven pounds!!! My clothes fit looser and I feel great! Moji has adjusted my meal plan and workout routine for this coming month. I am thrilled and looking forward to reaching my ideal weight, I feel like I am on the right track and I am thankful for all the help and motivation Moji’s Wellness Plan has provided us. My husband has also benefited from this as well; we now have better control of our intake and are eating five times a day with smaller portions and although he can’t make it to the gym with me he manages to squeeze in a few power walks during the week. He feels a lot more energy and feels much healthier. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking to loose weight and take actions towards eating healthier.
